NBA Mock Draft 2023: Final predictions, latest trade rumors, prospects rising and falling entering draft day.If you couldn't tell by the smoke screens and trade rumors, the 2023 NBA Draft is upon us.

Entering the 2023 NBA draft, Amen Thompson is the clear frontrunner to be selected by the Houston Rockets with their No. 4 overall pick in the first round. Then again, Paolo Banchero was the popular projection one year ago when the Rockets were picking at No. 3, and Jabari Smith Jr. was the unexpected result thanks to late chaos.

The moral of the story: Nothing is done until NBA Commissioner Adam Silver reads out each selection on the stage at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Trades are certainly possible, too.

If you’re near Houston, you can watch all the drama unfold at the team’s official draft-night watch party at POST Houston.

By now, you know that this year's draft is headlined by French phenom Victor Wembanyama. You've likely also heard about the battle for the No. 2 pick between Alabama forward Brandon Miller and G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson. But even just a day away, after the first three picks, it feels like anything can happen.

There are multiple reports around teams trying to package picks and move up in the draft, or sacrifice an earlier draft pick to move back while acquiring rotation-level talent. Opinions vary on the prospects available from the back end of the lottery and the end of the first round, leaving a lot of uncertainty as to which players will rise and fall on draft night.

Before the chaos commences on Thursday, take a look at The Sporting News' final 2023 NBA Mock Draft, adjusted from all of the intel and rumors swirling around the NBA's first tentpole event of the offseason.

With the 2022-23 NBA season in the rearview mirror after the Denver Nuggets hoisted the Larry O'Brien trophy, attention now turns to the 2023 NBA Draft. The San Antonio Spurs hold the No. 1 overall pick in Thursday night's draft, and while everyone already knows who they're going to pick, that doesn't take away from the excitement that is sure to happen over the course of the evening.

Thursday night, the lives of 58 young basketball players will forever be changed when they hear their names called and receive the hat for which NBA franchise they will be representing to begin their careers.

In what appears to be a very deep and talented draft, there are not many questions at the top of the draft board anymore, as the top three picks seem to be figured out. There are no doubts about Victor Wembanyama going first overall to the San Antonio Spurs. Right behind him, it continues to look increasingly likely that the Charlotte Hornets will be going with Brandon Miller over Scoot Henderson.

A decision that has come right down to the wire, the Miller vs. Henderson debate created various trade rumors over the last few weeks and a lot of uncertainty as to how this draft could play out. With Henderson expected to be available with the third overall pick, the Portland Trail Blazers do seem to be comfortable with the idea of selecting the young guard..(+>_<+)..
