Mayweather faces MMA fighter and boxer John Gotti III, the grandson of the New York gangster John Gotti. The fight is at the FLA Live Arena in Florida and airs on the Zeus Network. The time has almost arrived for the exhibition collision between International Boxing Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III.

Mayweather, who ended his pro boxing career with a perfect 50-0 record, has had six exhibition boxing matches. In the bouts that had an official result, Mayweather has gone 3-0. Of course, most believe it's an easy 6-0 for "Money" if all of those fights were given official verdicts.

Mayweather's seventh exhibition bout since retiring from the pros will be against an athlete with some combat sports experience. Gotti is 5-1 as a pro MMA fighter and 2-0 as a pro boxer. The two are set to collide this Sunday (June 11) inside the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida.

International Boxing Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather attends an NBA game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder inside the Crypto com Arena.

In his last exhibition bout, Mayweather took on Aaron Chalmers back in February. No winner was decided on that night, but it was quite clear that Mayweather laid serious leather on his opponent.

Those hoping to catch a live stream of the fight can do so through the Zeus Network. You can pre-order the event on the Zeus Network for $15.99. Fight fans can also sign up for the network at the annual rate of $59.99 per year, or $5.99 per month.

The festivities inside the venue will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET. There will be appearances from musical stars such as Ozuna and Jhayco. A Lunay concert and performances from Blueface, Chrisean and Joseline will also be featured.

Fighter history

There’s not much left to be said about Floyd Mayweather’s boxing career. He retired from competitive boxing with a 50-0 record and effectively the undisputed welterweight champ. He climbed from junior lightweight up to eventually welterweight, emerging as the pound-for-pound king of boxing. Since retiring from pro boxing in 2017 after beating Conor McGregor, he has fought a host of exhibition bouts against everyone from Logan Paul to Deji to former sparring partner Don Moore.

There’s a little more to said about Gotti given his getting plucked from relative obscurity. He’s got the famous name, but only a relatively limited combat career. His first pro boxing match came last October when he claimed a four-round unanimous decision over Albert Tulley. He fought again this past January, stopping Alex Citrowske in the first round of their four-round bout. Prior to that, he fought six bouts in CES MMA. He won his first five before Nick Alley claimed a unanimous decision in the main event of CES MMA 61 in October 2020.

It goes without saying he’s not Floyd Mayweather Jr., but who is? Even at his (professionally) advanced age, he’s still one of the slickest boxers to ever do it, and while age is undefeated, so far it hasn’t caught up to the man in charge of The Money Team.

One other big name on the card many people might recognize on this card is Jarrell Miller. It is fair to call Miller one of the biggest “what ifs” in boxing. Miller infamously failed multiple drug tests prior to a unification bout with Anthony Joshua back in 2019. In a face palm-worthy moment, he then failed another drug test the following year and was suspended until 2022. The 26-0-1 Heavyweight is an enormous favorite over Antonio Zepeda..>_<..
